Anusha Atukorala
Anusha has always been fascinated with the English language; scribbling poems and stories when little; composing songs in her teen years; and sending off reams of emails into cyberspace, when she gleefully stepped into the cyber age!
She is passionate about many things – Jesus, life, friendship, music, the beauty of Creation and of course Writing! Anusha comes from the beautiful little island of Sri Lanka and is blessed to have two places she calls home. Anusha stands at 5 feet ½ an inch tall and intends to grow just a little bit more one day to catch up with her 6 foot tall husband! She values the finer things in life, including good food, and especially chocolates! In Jan 2007, God led her into her latest adventure – a journey into WRITING - not simply for pleasure (which she’d done all her life, anyway) – but the added joy of being able to share her story with others. Having felt a call from God to encourage others - her passion is to write Christian books – to inspire and challenge others to a closer walk with God. Her first book entitled ‘Enjoying the Journey’, was published in June 2010. Since beginning her Writing Journey, Anusha has had several short stories published each year in the Australian stories series. She is presently working on her 5th book, looking to get a few others published and is positive there are many more books inside of her waiting to emerge! Anusha enjoys serving God through her local church, the Golden Grove Baptist church. She is passionate about sharing the love of Jesus with anyone and everyone. She lives in Adelaide with her husband Shan and their son, Asela.
